Chengdu, China (October 8, 2026) — Waldorf Astoria Chengdu has partnered with ELIE SAAB Parfums to present an exclusive collaborative afternoon tea. Inspired by three signature fragrances from the ELIE SAAB Le Parfum collection, the experience translates the top, heart, and base notes of each fragrance into an exquisite selection of savouries and desserts, bringing scent and taste together in the elegant setting of Peacock Alley for a sensory journey from fragrance to flavour.
本次联名下午茶以 Le Parfum挚爱女士香水 浮华金迷、Le Parfum in White 挚爱女士香水 纯白花嫁及Le Parfum Lumière 挚爱女士香水 光之颂歌三款香水为创作灵感。三款香水拥有各自鲜明的气质，却共同延续着Elie Saab对女性优雅与魅力的表达。从明亮清新的前调，到馥郁绽放的中调，再至温润深邃的后调，香气如同高定礼服般层层展开，呈现细腻而富有结构感的感官体验。
The collaborative afternoon tea draws inspiration from three distinctive fragrances: Le Parfum, Le Parfum in White, and Le Parfum Lumière. Each fragrance possesses its own distinctive character while expressing Elie Saab’s signature vision of feminine elegance and allure. From bright and fresh top notes to richly blooming heart notes and warm, sophisticated base notes, each fragrance unfolds like a haute couture creation, revealing its character layer by layer in a delicate and beautifully structured sensory experience.

The defining element of this afternoon tea lies in the integration of the fragrances’ complete olfactory structures into the culinary creations. Drawing inspiration from the signature notes of all three fragrances, the culinary team interprets their progression from top to heart to base through carefully selected ingredients, textures, and flavours, transforming each creation into part of the fragrance story.
Le Parfum以橙花开启明亮前调，中调融入茉莉与玫瑰，尾韵则由广藿香与雪松木沉淀。菜单中的琥珀柑橘茉莉慕斯对应橙花与茉莉香调，以清新果香与细腻花香开启味觉体验；玫瑰树莓芝士红丝绒及自制里科塔玫瑰奶酪配开心果呼应玫瑰中调；而黑朗姆伯爵茶蛋糕则以茶香与木质气息对应广藿香及雪松木的沉稳尾韵。
Le Parfum opens with the luminous freshness of orange blossom, followed by a heart of jasmine and rose, before settling into a sophisticated base of patchouli and cedarwood. The Amber Citrus Jasmine Mousse reflects the orange blossom and jasmine notes, introducing the tasting journey with bright citrus and delicate floral nuances. The Rose & Raspberry Cheese Red Velvet Cake and Homemade Rose Ricotta & Pistachios echo the romantic rose heart, while the Dark Rum Earl Grey Cake captures the warm, woody character of patchouli and cedarwood in its lingering finish.
Le Parfum in White灵感源自ELIE SAAB高定白纱，黑加仑构成明亮前调，茉莉与橙花在中调柔美绽放，并以广藿香与白麝香收尾。黑加仑酱鹅肝三明治与黑加仑巧克力布朗尼以黑加仑前调为灵感，果香与醇厚风味形成鲜明对比；橙味酸奶慕斯及琥珀柑橘茉莉慕斯则将橙花与茉莉的柔美花香转化为轻盈细腻的甜品表达。
Inspired by an ELIE SAAB haute couture bridal gown, Le Parfum in White opens with radiant blackcurrant, unfolds into a delicate heart of jasmine and orange blossom, and settles into patchouli and white musk. The Foie Gras Sandwich with Blackcurrant Jam and Blackcurrant Chocolate Brownie draw inspiration from the vibrant blackcurrant top note, creating a distinctive contrast between fruity brightness and rich, indulgent flavours. The Orange Yogurt Mousse and Amber Citrus Jasmine Mousse translate the delicate floral notes of orange blossom and jasmine into light and refined desserts.

Inspired by Mediterranean sunlight, Le Parfum Lumière opens with mandarin and ylang-ylang, followed by a luminous floral heart of jasmine sambac and tuberose, before settling into a warm base of patchouli, woody musk, and amber. The Grilled Scallop with Citrus Tartare introduces the tasting journey with the fragrance’s bright citrus opening, while the Orange Yogurt Mousse continues its fresh and luminous character. The Amber Citrus Jasmine Mousse reveals the warmth of jasmine and amber, while the Pumpkin Mousse with Honey-Glazed Smoked Ham echoes the fragrance’s deep and lingering base of woody and amber notes.
